Volunteer Opportunities
-Seated massage with veterans and their caregivers at Walter Reed every 4th Sunday. Next orientation for Walter Reed Fisher House will be announced soon (sign up for our volunteer newsletter to be among the first to find out about volunteer orientations!).
-Logistal/admin support for Fisher House programs in San Antonio, San Diego and Cinncinati.
-Assist with research and administrative duties for domestic violence programs at DC area shelters..
-Present on complementary healthcare and wellness for domestic violence programs at DC area shelters.
-Assist with development of promotional materials (brochures, flyers, pamphlets, media, website), copy and editing, design and finishing.
-Provide project support for target populations--Fisher Houses, disaster relief, disadvantaged mothers and children.
-Assist with grant writing and researching funding sources, including foundation, corporate and government agencies.
-Planning committee for launch party/fundraiser.
